President Edgar Lungu says the construction of roads in Mafinga District of Muchinga Province will open up the area for agriculture and mining activities.
He says the PF has demonstrated its willingness to open up the area by starting works on key roads.
President Lungu says government is aware that very few investors will be willing to exploit the potential in mining and agriculture without key infrastructure in the area. ZNBC
The Head of State adds that government wants people in remote parts of the country like Mafinga to also have access to basic services.
