Music has the incredible power to unite hearts, and today, as we stand on the brink of a thrilling musical journey, we're overwhelmed with gratitude. The launch event was a star-studded affair, with luminaries like Power TV Zambia CEO Mr. Kenny Tonga, Multichoice Namibia Managing Director Mr. Roger Matthew Gertze, Elsabé Tibinyane of Energy 100 FM, and Mr. Albert Pandu Nicanor, CEO of NASCAM, gracing the occasion. Their presence underscored the significance of this endeavor.

Mr. Kenny Tonga, in his speech, articulated the essence of our partnership: bringing quality local entertainment to Southern African audiences. And today, we're thrilled to announce 'NAMIBIA BIG 5' a show dedicated to showcasing the musical prowess of Namibia.

This show will be a platform for the top 5 most popular Namibian songs every week, with two predictions from emerging artists. Our aim is to foster a thriving music industry in the region, and we invite Namibian viewers to be the judges. By following Power TV Zambia on social media, they can cast their votes and influence the weekly playlist.

The grand moment has arrived! 'NAMIBIA BIG 5' premieres tonight at 8 pm C.A.T on Power TV Zambia (DSTV channel 278) and the DSTV stream app. To ensure maximum exposure, we're airing three repeats during the week.

We're already receiving music submissions, a testament to the enthusiasm surrounding this initiative. Power TV Zambia is committed to working closely with NASCAM and other stakeholders to strengthen ties with the Namibian music industry. Our dream is to see Southern African artists collaborating to create musical magic.
