ABUSIVE CLINICAL OFFICER NOW SAYS HE IS READY TO MARRY THE NURSE.
A Kitwe male clinical officer who on Monday raped a nurse around 02:00 hours has now written to her family asking them to withdraw the rape case and allow him to marry their daughter. In several text and wats up messages written to the lady and her family members yesterday, Mr Mathew Fwalanga 32 of Kitwe's Care Well Private Clinic in Nkana East pleaded with the family to withdraw the case so that he could compensate them by marrying their daughter and pay penalty of K25,000 in addition to the marriage dowry that the family will determine. But the family of the raped woman has reportedly turned down the clinical officer's offer saying they are not in need of money nor their daughter in desperate need of marriage. They have since asked the clinical officer to come out from hiding and surrender himself to police instead of sending useless messages. Elder brother to the raped woman Tryson Banda has since pledged K5,000 to anyone who will help the family bring the culprit to book.
On 1st December 2020, Mr Mathew Fwalanga allegedly abused Peggy Banda a nurse at Kitwe's Care Well Private Clinic in Nkana East during the night shift and then went into hiding.
