We were delighted to speak with World Bank Group President, Mr. David Malpass about the progress we are making towards debt reduction.
To this end, we discussed the importance of speedily completing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Zambia and the official bilateral creditors, as well as a subsequent agreement with commercial creditors.
We remain grateful for the World Bank’s continued support as we work to repair the economy, create jobs and reduce the cost of living for the people of Zambia.
