PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema has declared two days of national mourning from Saturday to Sunday in honour of the late Namibian President Hage Geingob, who died on February 4 in Windhoek after an illness.

Secretary to the Cabinet Patrick Kangwa said in a statement yesterday that the President has declared that, as a mark of respect for Mr Geingob, all flags in the country should fly at half-mast with effect from today to Sunday.

Mr Kangwa said the two days of national mourning declared by President Hichilema are selected dates for Mr Geingob’s memorial service and burial service day respectively.
