Fear Not!
The Bible says weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning.
Psalms 30:5
In the last few weeks a lot of faith challenging things have happened causing fear and hopelessness.
Deaths of bible teachers, our freedom fighters, relatives, entertainers and neighbors.
Leaders and Role Models falling ill.
Pereniual family problems. Schools closing every now and then as an effect of Covid-19, leaving many wondering what in the world is happening.
Is the world coming to an end some are asking.
Well, as some current problems maybe fulfilment of Bible prophecy The truth is problems don't last for ever. They have an end.
Fear not,
For which cause we faint not;......
For our light affliction which is but for a moment,......, While we look not at the things which are seen, but the things which are not seen: For the things which are seen are temporal;..,
2 Corinthians 4:16- 18.
The devil is after your heart. He wants to fill it with fear.
What then?
Guard your heart with all diligence for out of it are the issues of life. Proverbs 4:23
How do you do that? keep feeding your spirit with the word of faith. Don't dwell on negative reports. Walk by faith.
Faith is not denying that there are problems but it is denying those problems the right to afflict you.
Refuse to fear, keep your gaze on things that boost your faith. Say to fear of death. Do not let sickness and disease throw you on the sidewalk of life
Walk by faith and not by sight. 2 Corinthians 5:7
Yes some people have died, true coronavirus is deadly.
But the Bible says; there is a name that is above every name including Covid-19, that at the mention of that name Jesus every knee shall bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord.
Cast not away therefore your confidence which has great recompense of reward. Hebrews 10:35
Relax Jehovah is in control
