The Elite Ladies FC and Copper Queens attacker Comfort Selamani says the team is now focused on Tuesday's second friendly against Morocco and has put behind them their 2-0 win over the same opponent on Friday.
Selamani, who came on as a second-half substitute on Friday and played an important part in Barbra Banda's second goal for Zambia, has told FAZ media that everyone is working hard and remains focused in training ahead of the Tuesday encounter.
"Training is going okay, everyone is pushing, we are very much ready for Tuesday's game. We played the game before yesterday, it was okay, we won, but we forget about the results and focus on the Tuesday game to win and get positive results," Selamani said.
The young player, who was making her second appearance for the Copper Queens, showed her quality and will be hoping to get more playing time tomorrow and be part of the local squad that Copper Queens coach Bruce Mwape will select for the upcoming COSAFA tournament, which is set for October 4 to 15 in South Africa.
Selamani made her debut for the senior team in Zambia's 1-0 win in an international friendly against Tanzania, where she was the goalscorer after coming on as a second-half substitute. She went on to be part of the team that made their senior World Cup debut, even though she was an unused substitute.
