Bank Chief Executive Mwindwa Siakalima said over the years, the music festival has evolved.
Speaking at a media briefing in Lusaka today, Mr Siakalima said the aim of the festival is to support music and arts.
"By bringing international artists to Zambia, Stanbic has helped the establishment of connections between the local music industry and the international scene. Over the years the Stanbic Music festival has recorded a lot of success and this success story would not have been possible without our partners," he said.
Mr Siakalima said as the momentum builds up towards the music festival, the Bank is confident that Coca-Cola will bring its rich experience in supporting local music and arts sector.
Mr Siakalima said the festival will be held at the Lusaka Polo Field and will be Zambia's first-ever environmentally-friendly concert.
"By this, we mean that concert-goers should expect to find recyclable bins dotted around the venue. In collaboration with Coca-Cola, we will engage selected youth and women led clean-up teams, who will be ensuring the venue is clean and tidy during and after the shows, limiting garbage pile-up and this effort is aimed at reducing the negative impact garbage has on our natural environment. We are proud of this initiative and hope it will have a lasting impact on improving our clean-up culture,".
